To be built next to a traditional Long-House, this 5400sf community hall will serve members of the Penelakut tribe for festivals, potlatches, and other events. The hall, commercial kitchen, and other amenities are housed within a timber structure of locally cut cedar and Douglas fir. The project has a particular significance in that it occupies the place once held by a residential school.
