VICTORIA PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE 

Commissioned by the Victoria Performing Arts Centre Society to develop a design concept to explore the viability of a specific site on Victoria’s Upper Harbour. The program was for a 1,400-seat main auditorium plus a 200-seat studio theatre, rehearsal spaces and complete back-of house facilities. The complex would also contain offices and ticket centre for multiple performing arts organizations including Victoria Symphony Orchestra, Dance Victoria, Pacific Opera, the Conservatory of Music, and Greater Victoria Youth Orchestra. A restaurant-lounge, café and arts and cultural retail was also anticipated.
